We
needed a high pressure valve with very short response time and low
pressure drop.

At this
time, no valve was competent enough, so we did it.

The
goal was 350°C, 160 bars, response time less than one second,
and helium pressure tightness.

Two
products families are developed under MP98 patents. Both are
successful. Both have a pressure drop equivalent to a ball valve
without retention problems and without vapor locked problems.

In both
valves family the pressure drop is so low that flow profile is
equivalent to a full flow profile.

In both
family you can get valves, check valves, motorized valves.

Small
size and no retention isolating valves are available.

Such
technology valves could be done up to 6500lbs and that perfect for high
helium pressure application in HTR( high temperature reactor) or VHTR
(very high temperature reactor). Those two reactor types are one way of
hydrogen low cost production.

internal profiled family you can have:

instrumented valves. that's prevent you to make many nozzles on pipes.

viscosity fluid valves.

The
second family is a bypass valves family.
|
The
toghtness is ensured by a bellow.

In that
case pressure tightness is perfect up to 1500lbs and pressure drop is
very low without any retention.
